Daniel began working in missions as a teenager with his father, Reverend Joe Michael Kamau, in 2001. They were involved in strengthening churches in rural communities and leading church planting missions in the unreached parts of East Africa with organisations such as Global Partners which is currently E3 and now with NEXT Worldwide.

Daniel has been a Pastor for 10 years at Kahawa West Baptist Church. He is also passionate about Youth Ministry which he has actively worked in for 18 years. He is an ordained minister under the Baptist Convention of Kenya.

As the director in-charge of the community advocacy program, he uses his voice as a religious leader to drive discussions towards diversity, inclusion and gender parity.
